Chris Oyakhilome: Biography of The President of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome (Nigeria) is a TV host, pastor and an author. Chris is also the president of Believers' LoveWorld Inc., also known under Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome and was born on 7 December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. Following his primary and secondary education, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received an BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also granted him an honourary Doctor of Science prize. He also holds an honorary divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministries
While in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began exploring ministry while still at AAU. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.

YFC was growing, and eventually became the largest campus organization.  Oyakhilome In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy.  Oyakhilome Lagos is the home of the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry with millions upon millions of associates across the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.

Through the 2002 environment for miracles, BLW rose to prominence as an Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The program was canceled in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria - President Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should stop airing miracles on the television.

Pastor Chris's Ministry consists of four parts of publishing ministry (healing ministry) and television ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry).  Oyakhilome Through these ministries, he created the healing school and atmosphere for miracles, as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative that was created to investigate and enhance the leadership potentials of Africans. The foundation recognizes, celebrates and assists young Africans who have demonstrated leadership through positively impacting the lives of their generation. This is done through education, youth empowerment as well as mentorship.

The foundation acknowledges the work made by these young leaders through an annual award ceremony dubbed The Next Africa Leaders’ award. This ceremony takes place on the eve of each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. Winners are presented with an award by Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based nongovernmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to aid the needy homeless, depressed, orphaned and children who are vulnerable .

Trauma Care International Foundation

The TraumaCare International Foundation was founded in order to improve health and longevity for the local community. They also promote improved emergency response services in the event of are accidents or emergencies. The foundation can accomplish this goal by helping to implement national policies on trauma and health education.



Over a thousand were given first aid and safety training through the foundation. The foundation has taught over 1,000 teachers, law enforcement officers caregivers, road transportation employees.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps is a worldwide christian medical outreach which is committed to providing relief materials, medical assistance, and health education to people who are internally displaced and refugees in regions that are affected by man-made or natural catastrophes.

The outreach team comprises paramedics, students, and Christian workers from across the world. They provide medical assistance, emergency relief and sustainable health solutions to communities and regions that are in need.

VMC also offers local health services as well as manpower training to health workers. VMC is open to anyone who is driven by the principle to improve health, and provide humanitarian assistance to those most in need.

Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission, an organization of the Christian faith, is committed to the production, and distribution of the Bible in the format and language that they can comprehend. In this way, they are able to listen to God's Word and feel his life-changing message.

BFAM successfully distributed hundreds and thousands of Rhapsody Bibles for free to hospitals, prisons as well as communities in many countries such as South Africa and Nigeria. Through the global network of bible donations and volunteers, the outreach was made possible.
